There are LOTS of amazingly awesome books that deserve to have a movie. But they don't. Then there are some books that are ok, but have a movie. Then there are some awesome books that deserve an awesome movie, and their movie are TOTALLY AWFULLY TERRIBLE.
The Harry Potter movies. 1 and 2 are really good. I wish that the first Dumbldore hadn't died. But he did, which was sad. And there's nothin' we can do about it. 3 was a bad movie. It didn't follow the book all that well and it was bad, just as a movie. Don't even get me started on 4 and 5. They both suck. 6 was a brilliant movie, just as a movie, but did absoloutly horrid at following the book.
Twilight as a movie was ok as just a movie. I don't think they did very well at following the book, though. Sometimes it seemed as though they didn't try. But, sometimes, there was just something about the way that Stephanie Meyer wrote some scenes that it would be practically impossible to capture unless you were Bella. So, good job, movie people.
Those are all I can think of for now.
