Possibly my biggest ever post

This is Clover. At prom, in the second book.
Go green!
Here's Ame. Just normal, every-day-ness.
Here's Anthony.
I think the picture looks really good with headphones, but that might just be me.
Hey, Kevin! He looks a little over excited, though...
Meaghan, at prom. Her hair is MOSTLY normal brown, however, even though I invented the character I still haven't figured it out, the bottom is dyed bright green.
Here's Amanda. She's definitely the girliest of the Sights.

And now we start the elements.
This is Air. She's so cool.
If you make her mad she might not do anything for, like, 5o years, but then one day she'll come and make the wind whack your arm into a wall or something!
This is Earth. He's really sweet and he doesn't like to get into lots of fights. Amanda really likes him, even when they first meet, but he doesn't catch on till either the end of the second book or the beginning/middle-ish of the third.
Here's Fire. She's a little eccentric, if you couldn't tell...
And Water. She's really nice.
Yay Twi! Although her hair is actually a little longer, the point stands.
Vampier! The insane vampire!
Here's one of his many, many, many multiple children. Her name is Claudaria and she's been made into an actual vampire, instead of just a half one, like most of his kids.
Here's Jour. No explanation needed.
And Mariposa.
Here's Nacht. There are some funny stories about his hair...

And here are a few of the stars, the ones that are actually his friends, instead of being all girly.
This is Nithanda. When she was human, she was from Africa.
Here's Leo. Yes, I know it's a girl.
This is Starr. That was her actual human name. She likes to dye her hair blue. And one year she and Leo decided to go trick-or-treating with humans.
As you can tell, she was an angel, Leo was a devil.
And this is Jane. As a human, of course. When she was/is human she's really good friends with Clover. However when she gets a little older(she and Clover are friends when Jane's 6) she gets cancer and "dies."
What actually happens is that Twi comes and turns her into an Adma.

I got the character maker from here.

Thanks for reading my probably-longest-ever-post-that-is-mostly-not-words.

Profile Pic

Hoorah! A new profile picture! (Because the people trying to replace my lenses broke the frame... Grrrrrr...)
Anyway. This picture is from... Yep you guessed it. Her again. This picture works pretty well for close to the end of Reborn, when Twi is being tortured. : O
Yeah, I know. Don't ask. Just wait till I write the freakin' scene.

The Name of the Game covers

This is Twilight Dawn Whispers on the cover of the first book, Reborn. I made her eyes violet because she's sad. No, I'm not gonna tell you why. Wait till I (cross my fingers) get the book published.

This is the original picture.

This is the cover for Revenge. It fits with my basic idea for the story and the few scenes I have planned.

This is the cover for Return. Her eyes are light icy blue because she's so really, really, REALLY angry, she's calm. This is when she gets her final revenge on Diavolo Mostri.

They all come from here. God, this person is freekin' bloody awesome!! (Yeah, yeah. I know my vocabulary's turning British. I can't help it! I need to practice for winter break. (Hooray for London and Paris. Too bad I can't speak French. My mom'll have to translate...))

Cheerio, peeps!

P.S. My friend Fay got herself a blog. You should check it out. RockUrWorld blog. It's awesome!

The Rules: according to Special Agent Gibbs (from the show NCIS)

Ok. I have to put this up. On NCIS Gibbs has his own rules, for everything. So, I had to post them. So, here are "The Rules", according to Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs;

Rule #1: Never let suspects stay together. Rule #2: Never screw over your partner. Rule #3: Always wear gloves at a crime scene. Rule #4: Don't believe what you're told. Double check. Rule #5: Never be unreachable. Rule #6: The best way to keep a secret? Keep it to yourself. Second best? Tell one other person - if you must. There is no third best. Rule #7: Always be specific when you lie. Rule #8: Never take anything for granted. Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife. Rule #12: Never date a coworker. Rule #15: Always work as a team. Rule #18: It's better to seek forgiveness than ask permission. Rule #22: Never, ever bother Gibbs in interrogation. Rule #23: Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live. Rule no 28: Never run with sharp objects Rule no 29: Never fall asleep at your desk while handwriting a report Rule #22: Always carry a razor. Rule #38: Your case, your lead. Unknown numbers: "Never work the system when you can work the people." "Never Underestimate your opponent." "Always keep a spare." "Never say you're sorry. It's a sign of weakness." "Never marry a woman who eats more than you." Unofficial Rule A: Never say apologise, as it's a sign of weakness. Unofficial Rule B: We don't believe in coincidence. Unofficial Rule C: But we do believe in bad luck. Unofficial Rule D: Don't speak geekspeak, speak English. Unofficial Rule E: Headslap only the back of your underlings' heads: anything else would be demeaning (Gibbs once said a slap on the face was humiliating, whereas a cuff to the back of the head was a wakeup call). Unofficial Rule F: Always anticipate Unofficial Rule G: Know how to do every job that your underlings can do (this rule falls down if one your underlings happens to be Tim McGee, but we would all get a good laugh watching Gibbs trying to hack into the CIA's computers) Unofficial Rule H: If a computer doesn't work, hit it. Unofficial Rule I: Always acknowledge good work by underlings. Unofficial Rule J: When using Truth by Intimidation, always remain silent for at least a count of 5 after doing the act of intimidation, at which point the canary will sing. Unofficial Rule K: When in the interrogation room, stop the recording devices when the information strays into personal matters irrelevant to the investigation (e.g., don't ask/don't tell rules for gay Marines, revelations of unrequited love) Unofficial Rule L: When your cell phone breaks, have DiNozzo "fix" it (unwrap a new one from the supply drawer) Unofficial Rule M: Always ask for permission to touch the body: it belongs to the M.Examiner (Ducky has been known to get stroppy if anyone spoils his crime scene, he reportedly threw somebody down a hill). Unofficial Rule N: When doing a shootout, don't kill the hostage and avoid shooting off their ear. Unofficial Rule O: Don't call Ziva 'Ma'am' and don't call Jenny 'Madam Director', if you want to live. Unofficial Rule P: When hacking the CIA, give underlings a get out of jail free pass. Unofficial Rule Q: When breaking others' rules, do not get caught. Unofficial Rule R: If you want to gain access to a secure area to investigate, carry a cup of coffee and some paperwork and act like you belong. Unofficial Rule S: Never, ever (ever) get Ziva angry.

I copyed this off this site. I changed a few things. And then it got all messed up when I put it in, so sorry. Oh, well. You can still read the rules. I think some of the unofficial rules are actually official, but whatev. They're still funny. Unofficial rule H is the funniest, by far. (Note: Gibbs is kinda old. He's like in his 60s or something.)

Happy National S'mores Day!!!!!!

Women's Quotes

All these sites are all about empowered women and a lot of their quotes;

Another quote site

If you can't tell, I like quotes. Here's ANOTHER site with good quotes. Lots of adds, though. :-(

Going to the moon

Just a week ago the 40th anniversary of going to the moon happened. So I took Kennedy's speech, where he asked NASA to go to the moon, and put it in wordle. So, here it is.Wordle: Kennedy's speech on going to the moon
Here's the site I got the speech off: www.historyplace.com/speeches/previous.htm

Quotes

Here are some very nice quotes from J. K. Rowling: "I just write what I wanted to write. I write what amuses me. It's totally for myself." Here's my other favorite: "Age is foolish and forgetful when it underestimates youth." If you want to read more, here's a link to where I got them: www.quotationspage.com/quotes/J._K._Rowling

Here's a wonderful Jane Austen quote from Pride and Prejudice, said by Mary Bennet: "I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library." Here's another one: "I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them." If you want more, here's a link: www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Jane_Austen

This is a good Oscar Wilde quote: "Be yourself; everyone else is taken."  I also like this one; "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." If you want to read some more here's a link: www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Oscar_Wilde

And now, so I don't take quotes from over half the people on the site here's a link to the whole site; www.quotationspage.com/quotes

Happy Birthday!

As I've said before, I think, I write books. Well, the main character in my first series is named Artemis Roswell (pronounced Rose-well). Today is the day I have put her birthday on. So...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Artemis! :-) Yay for her. This is the picture that inspired me to create her, when I started the school project to write a story. And NOW look where it's taken me! I have a whole series of books going! So, I tip my hat to whoever drew this picture, (Cuz it CERTAINLY wasn't me. I got it off www.deviantart.com.) because I would never have become an author if I hadn't found this picture you drew! Thanks SOOOO much! :-)
