The orange water in Saint Louis

Yes, the water really was orange.
I only changed the statue to make it look like a ghost. ;-)
See?! Orange water!

Yep. There really was orange water. I did not photo shop it. I swear on my shelf of favorite books.

The Spiral Staircase

I took this picture when I was in D.C. about a year ago. And then I inverted it. The stair case was marble, with metal rails, that were supposed to look gold. I think I took the picture at the... Ok, I have absolutely no idea where I took the picture. ;-)

Inter-book communications

Are you aloud to take characters from one book you write, and them also use them in a different series? I don't know. But, I think I'm going to use some characters from one of my books in The Digger's Daughter. I'm going to use William Clarke, from The Card Players as Nathaniel's uncle. I think that works. That will also help me save the other series of books, because I was stuck with them. So, I hope it works.

AHHH! Pig attack!

Here is the regular picture of Sam I Am.

And here is the inverted, and crazily colored one.
With PINK eggs and ham!

Ok, in Seattle, all over the city, there were different statues of pigs. Like in Milwaukee they have Beasties, and things like that. I thought it was tremendously funny, and very cool. So, I went a little over board on the pig pictures. There was one that was Green Eggs and Ham. I liked that a lot, because I'm a big Dr. Seuss fan. On the side, there was a picture of Sam I Am. So, I took a picture of that (obviously). I found it on my camera, so I decided to play with it in photoshop. It was lots of fun.

Enjoy your travels, where ever they may lead!
Cheerio, peeps!

Guess what this is!

Guess what this building is! Got your guess? Well, it's a LIBRARY!!! It's SO COOL! It's in Seattle. And I took this picture!

Starlight by Muse

Yay Muse! I really love this song, and this music video. It's a really cool one. This song is really good for the Twilight playlist. It's for Edward.

Cheerio, peeps!

Twisted System by This Providence

I really like this song a lot. (But I love nearly anything by This Providence. :-) It reminds me a little bit of a conversation Edward and Bella have in the second chapter of Breaking Dawn.

Black and white statue

I took this picture when I was in Seattle... Two years ago. And the stupid picture was still on my camera! Oh, well. I just had to play with the colors a little, and invert the image, to get the black and white. It looks really cool, doesn't it?

Photo shop!!!!!!!

YAY!!!! I love photo shop!!!! It's so fun! So, to start off with I'm going to post a picture I took a few years ago, but for SOME reason it was still on my camera, and got loaded onto the stupid computer. It's a picture of my cat when he was three months old, and was in love with string. (He still is, by the way. :-) Yay photo shop!
So, what I did was play around with the color shades, and lighting. It was pretty straight forward. Next, I'll put up some more fun pictures.

Cheerio, peeps!

What the heck is up with the fonts, colors, and underlining?!?!?! I can't get rid of it!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Yay! Today's my birthday! And I got photoshop!!! YAY!!!!!!! :-)

Psychics

AHHH!!!!!!!!! There are SO many different takes on psychics!!!!! It's SO hard to get a new one!!!!!!! But they're so FUN to write about! They make such good characters!!!!!! I made Artemis a psychic, kind of, and it's been REALLY fun!!!!!!! But, people will think I based her off Alice Cullen!!!!!!! And I didn't!!!!! She is PALE, has long BLACK hair, GOLD-brown eyes, and is SMALL!!!!!!! AHHH, NO!!!!!!!!! Look at the words LONG, BROWN, HUMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRR!

Cheerio, peeps.

Character Personas

Ok, in books, there are usually a number of different personas. Some people call them personalities, but the real thing that there is almost always the same of are personas. There a few different kinds that I have seen. There can also be multiple of one persona in a book, though plenty of times there isn't. Ok, getting to the personas...

First, my favorite, The Dark, The Mystery. (Or you could call them The Rebel. :-) Usually a boy, though not always. He, or she, but for this purpose it'll be a boy, is kind of on the edge of things. He adds a lot of interest to the story. Here, in real life, imagine all the high school groups. There's the populars, the nerds, the band, and some others. Then there's that one other group, they don't really have a name, sometimes they're goth, sometimes not, but there's always one boy, on the edge of that group, who fits the persona to a T. In Twilight, obviously, Edward is that person. In Harry Potter, I am fairly certain that Harry fits. In a new book I'm reading, that person is Kartik. In the Underland Chronicles, that would be Rippred. In my book, I'm sure that it's Nathaniel. Usually, this persona has a bit of a rebellion, one of the main characters. Oh, they also either think WAY too much of themselves, or have WAY too much confidence. I'm pretty sure that in real life, I will fall for one myself. ;-)

The Friend. That persona is pretty obvious, although it's the least defined. They could be obnoxious, and have a crush on the main character, or helpful, bumbling, or... There are lots of choices. In Harry Potter, that's Ron. In Twilight, that's Jacob. In my book, that's Olivia and Nicolaus. Here are my takes on The Friend. Olivia is hyper, obsessed with clothes, and fashion, but when it all counts, she'll be there for Artemis. Nicolaus is a bit obnoxious. He's very similar to Jacob, and doesn't like Nathaniel much. But, he too, will be there when it really counts. And that's the binding factor for The Friend. The main, and sometimes one similar trait between the lot of them. They will always be there when it counts.

The Popular. Ah, the dreaded popular. There always is one, no matter what book you read, there is always a stupid snob who thinks they're better than the main character. They can never steal The Friend over, and usually not The Mystery, either. :-) Sometimes, though, they get won over and become friends with the main. Not always, though. Just like real life. :-P

The Main. Now, this persona is a bit difficult. They can all be even more different than even The Friend. But, they all have a bit of a courageous, brave streak. Sometimes, they have a power. But, they all help The Friend, make sacrifices. And that's what they really are.

Tomorrow is my birthday!

New Born by Muse

I really like this song. It starts out pretty quiet, and then BAM!!!!! Really loud. Especially if the first time that you've ever heard it, just after you bought it, and had only heard the beginning, and you were blasting it... Yeah, that happened to me. Yay Doctor Who!!!!!!!! This song is for Breaking Dawn, Bella. Yeah, get the point?

Cheerio, peeps!

Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day

I this is a really nice song. I like it a lot. And it has H. P. clips, so yay!

Obsessing over character's music

Ok, I am obsessed with getting songs that match up with book characters. I don't know why, but I really like to search for the songs. It helps me with character development, I guess. (Good writing tip, here! :-) So, I have been searching for songs for my characters. Here are some...

Holiday-Green Day This song works very well for Olivia. It has her kind of care free, what ever attitude.

He's a Tramp from The Lady and the Tramp I think this song is for Nathaniel. He is so stupid, sometimes. He breaks a bunch of rules, and then half the girls in the school are nuts for him.

Meant to Live-Switchfoot This song is possibly for Artemis. There is one line, that I can't remember, but it works well for her.

Map of the Problematique-Muse This is another possible Artemis song.

Take a Bow-Muse This song is for Dieudonne Legard. I don't really need to explain, if you've heard the song. He, by the way, is the villain in my story. (And he scares me to HECK! How does that work? I created him, but I'm terrified of him, and find it tremendously fun to make him scare the heck out of my characters! I am SO weird.)

Cheerio, peeps!

Things I have created...

Ok, in my books sometimes I create things to help the story. SO, here's a list of some of the things I created.

THE DIGGER'S DAUGHTER:
Mischeif (a band)
B. D. Carwin (a clothing line, also someone's name)
a city (yet to be named)
a legend

THE NAME OF THE GAME IS:
a mythology (including all the gods and goddesses, which are real)

Yeah, that's all I can think of, for now.
Cheerio, peeps!

Going Under by Evanescence

This song is really good. It works for Bella in Eclipse, I think. It's a really good song.

In Between by Linkin Park

This is a really nice song. And they're not screaming!!! Most of the Linkin Park songs have screaming, the album Minutes to Midnight only has about two, maybe three songs with screaming. Oh, well. This is a pretty good Jacob song for New Moon, actually. When he's just become a werewolf, and he has to be really mean to Bella. Curse you, Sam! Yeah, good song. Here it is.

Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Today is Ted Hughes's birthday! He was an English poet and children's writer. He was born Edward James Hughes, but wrote as Ted. One of his most famous books was The Iron Man. So that it didn't infringe on any copyright laws, the name of the book was changed to The Iron Giant, before it was published in the US. They also made a movie out of it. It was such a sweet movie, it was one of my favorites when I was a little kid.

Brighter by Paramore

This song ROCKS! It's one of my favorites, by her. This is a New Moon song, for sure. Even though the music is pretty up-beat, it's Bella, saying she still loves Edward.

Cheerio, peeps!

On Fire by Switchfoot

This is a beautiful, sad song. For Jacob, possibly. In Eclipse/end of New Moon. The pictures are really cool.

5 days till b-day.

The Unofficial New Moon Soundtrack

Ok, I got the unofficial soundtrack for the book/movie. And it's SOOO GOOD! I love it! I hope the official soundtrack is as good, because now I have some high standards for it. I'll be comparing it to the one I have! It was done by a group called "Midnight Sun". Lol. Oh, well. I wonder what songs they'll be using for the movie? Hope they're good. I was so happy when they had Supermassive Black Hole on for the first movie. Favorite song EVER!!!!!!!!

Rock on Muse. And This Providence. My other favorite band.
Cheerio, peeps!

Paris by Yael Naim

Sorry this isn't in English. I told you I knew Hebrew. (I just don't really know the whole song...) But, this song is really pretty, and I like it a lot. It's also the favorite song of one of my book characters.

Cheerio, peeps!

The Phantom of the Opera

Phantom is a book, as well as a play. (And a movie. :-) Which rocks!) I have not read the book, though I plan to. But I LOVED the play, when I saw it, just last week.
Oh, by the way... The Phantom's name is Erik! I have a second cousin named Erik... Huh. I wonder... Apparently, the Phantom was on the crew of people who built the theatre, so he built himself a secret place to live.

Photography

Recently I have gotten back into photography. When I was younger, I was really into it. The first time I went to London, I spent about half of everyday taking pictures. So, recently (As in, like, four weeks ago.) I have gotten back into it. If I get photoshop, I might post some of my pictures. Because, in my opinion, I'm actually fairly good.

Cheerio, peeps!

Running Up That Hill by Placebo

This is a really good song. It's also kinda sad. I have it from the Bones soundtrack, but I think it works pretty well for Eclipse, too. Enjoy!

Cheerio, peeps!

New Divide by Linkin Park

I do not like Transformers. NO, actually, I hate the freekin' things. But I love Linkin Park, and this is SUCH an awesome song!!!!!!! Go Linkin Park!

Cheerio, peeps!

21 Guns by Green Day

I really love this Green Day song. It's definitely close to the top of the list. I would put up more of their songs, but most of them have f-bombs in them, so yeah... But, this is really good song, regardless.

5 days till b-day.

Oh, I should mention...

Right, you might have noticed the new intro I put up, very recently. It's quite a bit more serious than my normal writing style. However, it's a little bit of something I've been wanting to express for a while. So, it was surprisingly liberating to publish it up on the web. I think it might inspire me to write a few little mini stories, very similar in style to that piece. I don't know. They'll probably be in second person. It should be a bit of an adventure. Maybe.

Boy, you'll be surprised how old I am, if you've read that! Birthday in six days.

Grrr. The stupid fonts won't work in word! I'm still going to try. Still can't get Bella's writing. :-(

Haha! I found it!!!! It's at this site! Still can't get Bella's font, though. Drat. I'm still gonna try.

The Twilight font

The font used for the titles on the Twilight Saga is called zephyr. I am trying to figure out how to get it for free, but I haven't yet. If anyone does, please put a comment up, with the site.

I found this site to get Edward and Jacob's writing for free, but Bella's won't work for me. :-( Still trying.

This is totally a Jacob song. I don't need any more explanation. It's a good song.

Cheerio, peeps!

Bruised (Acoustic) by Jack's Mannequin

I don't really know why I'm posting this song. It's a little Twilight-esque, but really, not all that much. Maybe a little for Edward? Whatev. It's one of my favorites by Jack's Mannequin. Not that I have all that many to choose from, though. ;-) Ah, well. There's one album on iTunes, called Punk Goes Acoustic, Vol. 2, and it's really awesome. I got a lot of great songs from it. I really like acoustic stuff, and I really like punk/alternative. So, it's a no-brainer. Yeah, sorry. I'm not here to advertise. Sorry. Anyway, here's the song.

Sorry about the weird speech bubble thing. I couldn't find any others with lyrics.
Enjoy!
Cheerio, peeps!

16000 words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's how many words I now have in my book!!!!!! I have 16000 words, size 12 font, 1.5 spacing. In Stephenie Meyer's first draft of Twilight, she had 130000 words. I would very much like to have about half of that, though I doubt it. That many words equals approximately 500 pages. So I believe I have about... Ok, I seriously have no idea how many pages I have. Any ideas? Please?

7 days till b-day.
Cheerio, peeps!

iTunes shuffle

It's SO annoying!!!!!! ITunes will NEVER play what I want to listen to when it's on shuffle! So, I have to choose the songs myself! It'll play music from Phantom when I want to listen to Linkin Park. OR it'll play Green Day when I want to listen to some classical stuff! Stupid iTunes.

7 days till the spectacular b-day of mine.
Cheerio, peeps.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

I was writting last night, but didn't realize some of what I wrote. So, I was just rereading some of the stuff and I found this line;

“Oh, come on! You must know what was going on in your head! It’s your head!” I complained to him. Sometimes none of the Legard boys made any sense.

Yeah, I didn't even realize I wrote that! I'm gonna keep it, but it's kinda funny.

Grrrr...

I REALLY want to finish my book, but I also don't want to! AAAHHH!!!!!! Once I finish it, than I'll have to reread a bunch of the crap that's stuck inside of the good stuff, and edit it. AND THEN, I'll need to find a bunch of publishers to send it to. AND THEN, I'll have to read through all the horrid, dreaded rejection letters!!!!! AND THEN, I STILL most likely won't be published!!!!! GAH! Life is hard all around! And I'm not even back in school yet!!!!!!!! GAAAAAHHHH!!! GRRRRRR!

Cheerio, peeps.

Almost done!!!!!!!

SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! (That was a squeal, if you're wondering.) YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 15803 words, and 56 pages! Yay! Does anyone know how many pages that is in a real book? Please tell me. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheerio, peeps!!!!!!! :-)

Finally! I have a clean screen on my laptop! :-) I'm not very smart, sometimes.

Happy International Left-Handers Day!

How to write a book

People write all these books about how to write a book. HAHAHAHA! No, actually. Not funny at all. Those things suck. It's just a bunch of stupid gits trying to earn some money by saying they have the "perfect way to write a book", or what ever the heck else they say. No. It's all crap. Don't bother. There is no real way to write a book! Most of the time, when I'm writing a new story, I don't even know what the big event is going to be, till I'm practically half way there! So, don't fall for all the gits' evil, money-wasting, tricks. Just sit down, create a few interesting characters, take them to a place you like, and see if you can make a story out of it. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But, no one will care if it doesn't work. You can take all the time in the world to write. You don't have writing dead-lines till you're a real, published author. ;-)

So, good luck, with all your writing schemes! I hope you get as far as I did, to a finished book. (Well, it's almost done. A few more days, and I truly mean it!)
Happy International Left-Handers Day!
Cheerio, peeps!

National ________ Day

Okay, so today isn't a national something day, it's an international something day. Today is International Left-Handers Day. I am not left-handed, but my mom is. And a good friend of mine from school, who I have considered using to illustrate my book, because he draws so freekin' well. His picture in the google doodle, thing-a-magig, got regional.
I have over 15,000 words in my book now! 54 pages of type in word, size 12 font, 1.5 spacing! Yay! That would be, maybe, 150 pages in a real book? I dunno. I'm trying. I'll keep everyone updated. Bye!

Happy International Left-Handers Day!

Publishing companies?

I am almost done with my book. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! I have two, or so, chapters left. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I've started thinking about publishers to consider sending my book to. My book is mostly likely to be categorized as Young Adult fiction, but I can't be sure. I'm positive on the fiction part. But, there is a little bit of romance, so, I don't know. Whatev. I think my book is a little scary, actually. But, yeah. That's not what I set out to write this post about.
Ok, good places to try to send to get published. Scholastic, Random House, Little, Brown. Those are all I can think of. I actually need some suggestions. Anyone? PLEASE.
Yeah, that's all for now.

How to Save a Life by The Fray

Yay! Pretty song. It's so sad! This is the back-up Carlisle song. When you absolutely can NOT find any song for Carlisle, than this works. :-( I'm sad. Carlisle is one of my top five favorite characters in Twilight and he doesn't even have a song! :-( My favorites are; Carlisle, Edward, Emmett, Seth, and Alice. Oh, and if you think I have a crush on any of the boys, read The Twilight Fan-Girl Rant. I put it up on August 2nd. Anyway, here's the song.

The Rules: according to Special Agent Gibbs (from the show NCIS)

Ok. I have to put this up. On NCIS Gibbs has his own rules, for everything. So, I had to post them. So, here are "The Rules", according to Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs;

Rule #1: Never let suspects stay together. Rule #2: Never screw over your partner. Rule #3: Always wear gloves at a crime scene. Rule #4: Don't believe what you're told. Double check. Rule #5: Never be unreachable. Rule #6: The best way to keep a secret? Keep it to yourself. Second best? Tell one other person - if you must. There is no third best. Rule #7: Always be specific when you lie. Rule #8: Never take anything for granted. Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife. Rule #12: Never date a coworker. Rule #15: Always work as a team. Rule #18: It's better to seek forgiveness than ask permission. Rule #22: Never, ever bother Gibbs in interrogation. Rule #23: Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live. Rule no 28: Never run with sharp objects Rule no 29: Never fall asleep at your desk while handwriting a report Rule #22: Always carry a razor. Rule #38: Your case, your lead. Unknown numbers: "Never work the system when you can work the people." "Never Underestimate your opponent." "Always keep a spare." "Never say you're sorry. It's a sign of weakness." "Never marry a woman who eats more than you." Unofficial Rule A: Never say apologise, as it's a sign of weakness. Unofficial Rule B: We don't believe in coincidence. Unofficial Rule C: But we do believe in bad luck. Unofficial Rule D: Don't speak geekspeak, speak English. Unofficial Rule E: Headslap only the back of your underlings' heads: anything else would be demeaning (Gibbs once said a slap on the face was humiliating, whereas a cuff to the back of the head was a wakeup call). Unofficial Rule F: Always anticipate Unofficial Rule G: Know how to do every job that your underlings can do (this rule falls down if one your underlings happens to be Tim McGee, but we would all get a good laugh watching Gibbs trying to hack into the CIA's computers) Unofficial Rule H: If a computer doesn't work, hit it. Unofficial Rule I: Always acknowledge good work by underlings. Unofficial Rule J: When using Truth by Intimidation, always remain silent for at least a count of 5 after doing the act of intimidation, at which point the canary will sing. Unofficial Rule K: When in the interrogation room, stop the recording devices when the information strays into personal matters irrelevant to the investigation (e.g., don't ask/don't tell rules for gay Marines, revelations of unrequited love) Unofficial Rule L: When your cell phone breaks, have DiNozzo "fix" it (unwrap a new one from the supply drawer) Unofficial Rule M: Always ask for permission to touch the body: it belongs to the M.Examiner (Ducky has been known to get stroppy if anyone spoils his crime scene, he reportedly threw somebody down a hill). Unofficial Rule N: When doing a shootout, don't kill the hostage and avoid shooting off their ear. Unofficial Rule O: Don't call Ziva 'Ma'am' and don't call Jenny 'Madam Director', if you want to live. Unofficial Rule P: When hacking the CIA, give underlings a get out of jail free pass. Unofficial Rule Q: When breaking others' rules, do not get caught. Unofficial Rule R: If you want to gain access to a secure area to investigate, carry a cup of coffee and some paperwork and act like you belong. Unofficial Rule S: Never, ever (ever) get Ziva angry.

I copyed this off this site. I changed a few things. And then it got all messed up when I put it in, so sorry. Oh, well. You can still read the rules. I think some of the unofficial rules are actually official, but whatev. They're still funny. Unofficial rule H is the funniest, by far. (Note: Gibbs is kinda old. He's like in his 60s or something.)

Happy National S'mores Day!!!!!!

Book Symbols

Ok. In all my books I have a special thing. It's like my signature, or something. In all books, when they skip a chunk of time, they'll have this big white, blank space. Well, I don't like that space. So, I put in the special character things to fill up space. Each book, or series, has it's own symbol(s). So, here are the symbols I have in my books.

Δ Δ Δ I have this as the symbol for my book series "The Digger's Daughter".

»§« I have this symbol for my book "The Name of the Game is..."

✵✵✵ This is the symbol for my book that is nameless. It's about magic and time travel. But I am worried it might turn out too much like a teen-age Magic Treehouse. I hope it doesn't. I quite like a lot of the characters. Especially Alita.

This is the symbol for my book about a band. I'm having some trouble with it. I dunno why though. Half the characters are based on my friends. Maybe it's too much like real life. Ah, well. It's called "The Card Players" that's also the name of the band. Infublo is one of the characters.

Cheerio, peeps!

Swan Dive by Sister Hazel and... DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!!

By the way, when you're on iTunes and want to listen to music, but are bored with just looking at your lists of songs, press the control key and the "T" key, like you want a new tab. Then you can watch all sorts of pretty spinny lights, and stuff, that dance to the music. It's really cool! And the only reason I found out how to do that was because Infublo thought we were on the internet. Silly Infublo, but thanks!

Stand in the Rain by Superchick

This song is for Bella in New Moon. It's kind of self-explanatory. I know I could have just picked a normal lyrics video, but, hey, it's New Moon. And you meet the Wolves! So, what the heck!

Book editing

This may be depressing to some beginning writers, but it needs to be heard. When you think that you're almost ready to be published, read your book. Just sit down and take a day (or more, depending on the length) to read it. And you will see that a lot of what you thought was up to standard is actually HORRIBLE!!!!!! I have started reading my book and some of it was literally painful to read.

The worst scene was close to the end. It was a phone conversation between one of my characters and her mother. When I had written it, I know I was rushed. It was getting close to the point when the English project was due, and I wasn't done yet. (Just so you know, my book started out as an English project. Then it got out of hand and I just decided to go farther with it and write a whole book.) So, I hurriedly finished the last three chapters. Or, what was a rough draft of them, any way. Not a good idea, though. Those hold the two major fight scenes. So, yesterday I started rereading. And I found the worst part of my book. So, I just deleted the whole, cursed conversation and rewrote. But, I still have a lot to fix! It's literally painful! AAHH!! Sorry, everyone, but it's true! Sniff.

Ah, well.

The Voldemort Bunch

This is so FUNNY!!!!!!! I can't believe how STUPID it is!!!!!!! And I never realized till now that the person who played Barty Crouch, Jr. in Harry Potter 4 is the same actor who plays The Doctor in Doctor Who. He is David Tennant. His is TOTALLY THE BEST DOCTOR EVER!!!!!!! He is regeneration 10. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, see the show, or look it up. Cuz the show is so FREEKIN' AWESOME!!!!!! Sorry. I love Doctor Who. Any way, here's the video.

My Beautiful Rescue by This Providence

This song works PERFECTLY for Edward and Bella. Especially one line, for Edward, "I'm falling more in love with every single word I with hold." LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! Sorry you can't see anything, but oh well. At least you can hear it. AH! I'm so jealous I would do anything to see them perform!!!!!! Them and Muse. Oh, well. Maybe some day. Oh, and Ok Go.

Cheerio, peeps!!!!!

New Moon commercial

Okay. The New Moon commercial. My friend has made me watch it way too many times. And then last night I went to a movie and saw it AGAIN. So, I have some comments to make on it.
First of all, the way it starts is a little confusing. What's with all the truck and dark outside the house, and such? What time is it? Now, about the party. I love Alice. But, the fight is so messed up. They didn't have Jasper come at Bella. Did he even go after her? It seemed like he went at Edward. And Edward would NEVER, EVER hurt his piano!!!!!!!! So, why does he throw Japer against the piano? He could as easily throw him against a wall, or something. But, no, he needs to break the piano. The forest scene is pretty good. I like it. What the HECK is up with Laurent's EYES!!!! They are huge and practically bugging out of his head!!!!!! They did much better with the eyes in the first movie. OH! I just realized, they never tell you what happens to Laurent in the first movie! Stupid gits. Okay, now the wolf. I think the way they do the wolf transformation is absolutely wonderful! I am not on Team Jacob, but I think the wolves might be the best characters of this movie! My only problem with the wolves is that I wish they were a little bigger. But you can't have everything, can you? Ah, well. The wolves rock in the movie, for sure!

Pros and Cons

Okay. I will now discuss some pros and cons of movies and books.

MOVIES: Movies are really annoying. Now, don't get me wrong, I love to watch movies. Just look at the list of movies I have up on my profile. But, they always have to cut SO much of what was in the books! And then the stupid producers, or whoever, decide to add a bunch of stuff to make it more "exciting". :-P Well, boo to them. But, I do like that in movies, if some people are having a conversation, if the actors are really good, and have truly captured the essence of the character, they can make the perfect movement, facial expression, whatever. No matter how good the author is, they will never be able to perfectly describe their character's expressions. Not like they see them in their head. I know from experience. It's SO DARN frustrating! Trying to capture my character's expression, so that everyone can see them the way I do! It's practically impossible!!!!!

BOOKS: I love books. Haven't you read the blog? But, as I said before, it's so hard to capture facial expressions! Ah, well. My only problem with books is that they're so heavy to carry around. Especially the big ones. And school books. Like the darn social studies book. Curse it!!!!!!

Newsies

Newsies is an awesome musical/movie thing. The songs are great and it's based on a true story. The news boy strike at the end of the 1800s/early 1900s. It's a super movie. They also have some of the best songs in it. When I was into dancing, one summer, the theme was Newsies. So, we dressed up in ties and caps and vests and things. Then we did jazz and tap routines to some songs from the show. I don't remember it all, but I know that there was a jazz routine to King of New York. (One of my three faves. They are King of New York, Carrying the Banner, and Once and for All.)
Here's the first scene of the movie.

Here is King of New York. If you're wondering about the weird pictures, that how they looked while singing the song. Lol.

Here is Once and For All. Great song. I used it one year to try out for a play. (Didn't get the part, though. :-( )

Cheerio, peeps! :-P

Ow.

Still have the coffee headache. Ow. Ow. I HOPE this will be the last one I write about my (ow) coffee headache. (Falls over, slowly dies.) Cheerio, peeps. (ow)

COFFEE!!!!!!!!!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! (evil laugh)

Okay, I just had a lesson with my Hebrew tutor, (Yes, I know Hebrew.) and we were at Starbucks. So, I had a coffee. And now the caffine is going to my brain. So, I am slightly hiper, but mostly I just have a headache. But coffee is so GOOD!!!! AAAAHHH! And I really wanted to post something, cuz I didn't post anything yesterday, even though I wanted to, but the thing I wanted to post I didn't finish and then I gave up on it and blah blah blah. Yeah, I'm kinda hyper. Cheerio, peeps! ;-) No, not the candy. (Which, by the way, is super fun to blow up in the microwave once it's stale. :-P) It is slang for people. That was for the adults who don't understand. Anyway, cheerio, again, peeps! :-D

The Bracelets

If you read that one post I put up about Nathaniel's bracelet, you'll hopefully be wondering about how all that worked out. (If you are that means my writing is decent enough to keep you interested!) So, I decided to write the piece about Nathaniel's mother buying the bracelets. (Still have no clue where this takes place, though. ARGH!!!!!!!)
This is Nathaniel's mother's POV. Her name was Grace Whittemore.

I pulled the scarf a little lower over my head as I headed toward the Seer's shop. I had an odd feeling of paranoia that I couldn't seem to shake off. I knew it was silly, but I couldn't get rid of it.
I jumped at the little tinkle the bell made as I came in the door.
"Hello, my dear," an old woman's voice said, floating through the dark, musty air of the shop, to me, where I cowered by the door. "How may I help you?"
I steeled my nerves and moved forward. "Um... Yes, hello. I'm here to get some of the (what-ever-the-heck-the-bracelets-are-called. Insert there.)."
The old woman nodded. "Yes, of course."
"I have one son who is turning 13. But I have two other sons. They will be 7 and 10."
She cocked her head to give me a quizzical look. "Hmm. Well, if you're here after the bracelets you must know how they work. And about the age you give it to your boy. So, does that mean you know what will happen in the next few years."
Yes, I had been right to feel paranoid. I shrank back into the scarf again, feeling overwhelmed with guilt and pity for my boys and little girl. "Yes," I whispered. "I have a year, at best."
She nodded. "I won't pry, if you prefer."
"Thank you."
"If you are getting all three now, I need to ask you all the questions. So, let's start. Please sit down."
I found a chair on my side of the counter and sat.
"First, how many children do you have and what are their full names, including middle, and ages?"
"I have four children. My eldest is a girl. Her name is Charollette Sophie Legard, she's 18. My oldest son, the one turning 13, is James Ethan. My 10-year-old is Thomas Arthur. And my youngest, who will turn 7 at the end of October, is Nathaniel Ian."
"Those are very nice, but we will need to disregard the girl for now. Now, do any of your boys have any ideas of what they will become, when they're older?"
"Not really. I know James wants to be a professor, or something of the sort. He's so smart. I don't think Thomas has any ideas, though. Nathaniel has been playing with the idea of becoming a musician. He has played guitar for two years now and he is amazing at it. He's written so many songs!" I smiled at the memory of his first song, dedicated to his older sister and me. He had been so proud of himself.
"Okay. Could you please describe them? After you describe them I would like to see some pictures, but only after."
"Well, James has black hair and black eyes, like his father. Thomas is the same. Nathaniel also has black hair, but his eyes are green, like mine, and his sister's. They all have fairly pale skin, but so do I and my husband."
Then I pulled the boys' school photos out. James was wearing his favorite deep green, button down shirt. Thomas was, sadly, wearing a t-shirt. And Nathaniel was, for some reason, wearing one of his father's tie, over a deep blue, button down. His hair still wasn't brushed. I could never get him to brush his hair. Maybe he already knew that even though I complained about his hair, it truly did suit him, the messy, black hair.
The woman smiled. "You have three very good looking boys. Now, what are each of their two favorite colors?"
I had to think about that for a moment. "I know Nathaniel's are black and dark blue. I believe that James's favorite colors are dark green and a kind of gold-orange color. Thomas likes silver and red."
The old woman nodded to herself. "Yes," she said looking back at me. "Those sound right. I'll be back in a moment. I need to find your sons' bracelets."
I waited quietly, looking around, but not really seeing. I knew I would not meet the girls these bracelets went to, if they ever did end up some where, but I hoped they would help my boys make the right decision about who they spent their lives with.
After about 15 minutes the woman came back. "I have found your boys' bracelets," she said, handing them to me. I looked down at them.
One had silver and red beads, along with three blue and brown beads. I hoped that didn't mean the girl Thomas would love had blue hair, but I had a funny feeling it might. James's had three green and orange beads, with three plain brown beads. Although, I could detect a slight difference in the shades of brown. And Nathaniel's... It was very interesting. It had his three black and blue beads, but the other three were quite strange. They were black and a gold color that I had never before seen as hair, but I certainly couldn't see how she could have gold eyes. That was absurd. Wasn't it?
I left the shop still feeling jumpy.

Creepy, isn't it? Poor Grace. She already knows that she's gonna die, and she didn't tell her kids! :-( And she doesn't know how horrible her husband's gonna turn out! (Dieudonne Legard tries to kill Artemis a lot.) And she doesn't know that her little boy's love really DOES have gold eyes! Poor Grace. Her dying made James change his mind. Till she died he wanted to be a professor, with a Ph.D. and stuff. When she did die he decided to be a doctor of medicine, to make people better, and not have little kids go through what he did. Poor Grace. :-(

The Twilight Fan-Girl Rant

A few months back, I got superbly annoyed at all the girls who are totally obsessive over the male characters in the Twilight Saga. The obnoxious, and some times sickening, fan-girls, who squeal every time their crush character does something "cute". So to all the sick fan-girls, I wrote this for you.

Do you <3 Edward, Carlisle, Jasper, Emmett, or Jacob?
Well...
WTF People?!?!?!?!?
Edward is MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!
Carlisle is MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!
Jasper is MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emmett is MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!
Jacob is TAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost every male character is
TAKEN!!!!!!!!!
If you want to crush on a Twilight character crush on the Volturi!!!!!!!!!
IF you do not take the above advice, I hope you enjoy being MURDERED in EXTREMELY
GRUESOME, and LONG, DRAWN OUT WAYS by FREAKISHLY ANGRY FEMALE VAMPIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!!! :-)

Sorry, I dunno what's wrong with the fonts today.

Complaints

I will now complain about a book I have never read.

Why the HECK did Eoin Colfer name his main character ARTEMIS????? When it's a BOY!!!!!!!!! In Greek mythology Artemis is the GODDESS of MAIDENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?????????????

Beauty from Pain by Superchick

Here is another Rosalie-perfect song.
And it's SO very sad. And depressing.

Writer's block is contagious

If you are writing a book and then you talk to a friend about their book, and they say that they have writer's block you will inevitably get it, too. So, besides being contagious, the words "writer's block" used together, are a swear. Never say them to an aspiring author. Or to an author who has already written books, because anything they are working on will be stumped too.
So, here are some ways to get rid of the dreaded curse:
1) Listen to music that has things to do with your story, or listen to music that your character would like.
2) Create a scene about what would happen if some of your characters met up with characters from an already published book.
3) Create a scene where your characters met up with you.
4) Write a profile of your character. (Fav music, books, shows, fav color, etc.)
5) Pay attention to your surroundings at the time the curse sets in. You can draw ideas from clothing, furniture, food, etc.
6) Take one of those computer personality tests as your character.
That's what I've got so far.
NOTE: I write in first person, so these are for first person. If you don't write in first person I'm not sure if these pointers will help.
