Respect

Why do kids have to respect their "elders" if, a lot of the time, the elder doesn't give one ounce of respect back to the kid? Do you still have to respect an adult if they hurt you? Why isn't the rule just to have mutual respect for everyone, younger and older than you alike? In class, do you have to pay attention to the teacher if the teacher doesn't pay attention to you? Some would answer yes, but I am not so sure. I still wonder why the rule is to respect your elders, instead of respect, teach, and learn from all, young or old. That is my new rule. Respect, teach, and learn from all others, younger and older than you alike.

Cheerio, peeps.

  2. HAHA! Yeah... right... I just wrote that 'cuz our math teacher never pays attention to us. We all just played on the computers for a whole class instead of paying attention, and she didn't notice!
